Day One - Bike to Work Week
Bike to Work Week kicked-off today and was greeted by thousands of eager cyclists, many of whom are biking for the first time this year. There are an estimated 5,750 participants registered as of today.
Honourable Minister Kevin Falcon joined a team of cyclists at the Legislature building and showed off some great mountain biking techniques for all to see.
Honourable Minister Richard Neufeld posed with Bike to Work Week team members in front of Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources.
Johnson Street Bridge - 320 people completed ballots and an estimated 600 cyclists passed by on their way home from work.
Colwood Corners - 80 people completed ballots, an estimated 120 cyclists passed by!
