Prince Rupert ready for 1st Annual Bike to Work Week!

There will be a Celebration Station at FarWest Sports Monday to Friday between 7:30 and 9:00 AM. Daily draw prizes, information, snacks and bike mechanic to check over your bike. Come out and see what we have to offer.

Turn Casual Fridays into Casual Week for BTWW

Lisa Davison from the Northern Savings Credit Union is the also one of the Team Leaders for BTWW in Prince Rupert.  Lisa has a great idea for those businesses that require a more formal dress for work.  While some new bicycle commuters are worried about having to bring a change of cloths during BTWW, the idea of expanding "Casual Fridays" to "Casual All Week" "

Prince Rupert Hosting BTWW 2009

Prince Rupert will join other BC Communities such as Smithers, Penticton and Squamish in hosting their first annual Bike to Work Week May 11-15, 2009. The organizers Bob Cuthbert and Charles Justice are long time residents of Prince Rupert and avid cyclists.
