It’s important to stay safe when you are out on the road. While most of us learn to bike by trial and error, its important to know the rules of the road and wear the proper safety equipment before you hit the streets.

To participate in Bike to Work Week, follow these three steps:

1. Join a team: Browse the Team Leaders section to see if your workplace has registered. Let your assigned team leader know that you would like to participate. If your workplace is not registered, create a team. See below for registration instructions.

Come join us in community-wide and province-wide initiative to inspire our friends, family, neighbours, coworkers and ourselves to leave the car at home and Bike to Work! Running, May 30 - June 5 2011, Bike to Work Week includes many great fun, safe, and celebratory activites from the newbie to the pros!

…but the work doesn’t end there!

Fifty-six workplace teams are registered and ready to go for Prince George’s first Bike to Work Week event.  Check out the list to see if your workplace is involved.  Registration is still open.
