Sunday, September 13, 2009 at the Moose Hall (663 Douglas St.) the folks behind Prince George’s Bike to Work Week will be hosting an equipment swap and demonstration event! Come down to sell you old equipment and bikes for cash or to pick up something new! Many of the cycling projects and activities in the city will be on display, and events will run throughout the day to help you update your skills!

8:00-11:00: Drop-off

12:00-5:00: Swap Meet Open, Concession Open, Bike Rodeos all day

1:00: Route planning 101 with Kim Maclean, Bike to Work Week Organizer

1:30: Cleaning and Lubricationg Your Chain with Adam Humphrey, Cyclist Extraordinaire

2:00: Auction

3:00: Changing a Flat Tire wiith Nadia Nowak, Pedal for the Planet

3:30: Commuter Checlist with Kim Maclean

4:00: Roll Models - how to encourge others to cycle with Jillian Merrick, Bike to Work Week organizer

4:30: How to Build your own $5 panniers, with David Stevenson

5:00-7:00: Equipment and cash pickup

For Sellers: Please download a copy of the equipment registration form below and submit it ahead of time to avoid lineups at the registration. All equipment must be cycling-related and in working order. Drop-off is between 8:00am and 11:00am on Sunday September 13. All items must be picked up by 7:00pm that evening. Please read the registration form for more details.

For Buyers: There is no entry fee! Stop by between the hours of 12:00 and 5:00 to check out great deals, learn new skills, and enjoy all the day has to offer. An auction will be held at 2:00 and red tag items will go on sale during the ast hour of the swap! Ride your bike to the event and receive a free cookie!

All proceeds will go to support Bike to Work Week in Prince George
