Bike to Work

The Mayor of Abbotsford will be biking to work on Thursday, May 14, 2009 from Auguston, through the City and is inviting all residents to join him along the following route:

• Leaves Auguston at 7:15 am
    o Meeting place in front of Sales Centre
• West along McKee Road
• Right at McKee Drive and Left onto Old Clayburn Road 
   o Meeting place at the Fire Hall 7 (~7:30-7:35)
• South along Ash Street
• Right at George Ferguson
• Left onto Montrose
   o Meeting place in front of Community Services (~7:45-7:50)
• Right onto McDougall Avenue and follow the bike lane onto Bevan Avenue
   o Meeting place at Bevan Park (~7:55-8:00)
• Left on Gladwin
   o Meeting place at Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre Celebration Station (~8:10-8:15)
• Back on Gladwin and left on Bevan Bike Lane
• Right on Peardonville
• Left on South Fraser Way
   o Meeting place at Vancity Celebration Station
• Continue along South Fraser Way to City Hall
   o Finish ~8:30, and enjoy coffee, fresh fruit and snacks at the City Hall Celebration Station!
