Bike to Work Week - June 2 - June 8, 2008
Bike to Work Week is coming for the first time to the Cowichan Valley. Local organizers are excited to see the turnout for the event.
Please attend Bike to Work Cowichan’s Kick-Off Event. Dr. Richard Stanwick, Chief Medical Officer for Vancouver Island will be speaking about cycling and healthy lifestyles; Duncan City Councillor Paul Fletcher will be issuing a challenge to other area councillors, and one of our representatives will address bike safety.
The Kick-Off will be Thursday April 24, 2008 at 2:15 p.m. in the gardens (indoors if weather inclement) of the Green Door House, 126 Ingram Street, Duncan.
