Bike to Work Nanaimo
Tuesday, the 14thof May. North-end Community Ride. We’ll be leaving from the Chapters/Starbucks area at 5 pm, so get there in plenty of time to be ready to go on a roughly 10 km ride.
Friday, the 24th of May. Community ride and Commuter Challenge. Meet at Diana Krall Plaza after work to cheer on the commuter challenge participants arriving at about 5:15, then we’ll be leaving about 5:30 for a 10 km ride which we are not calling a critcal mass ride.
Here are instructions for both new and repeat teams. Don’t forget: a team can be as small as one commuter!

In the second article, “Research required in picking a bike” the equipment essentials were covered.
And the third article gets into the personal issue of…what to wear. See “Casual wear ‘in’ for cyclists”.
