Bike to Work Week 2009 - May 11-17

Bike to Work Week Results
Kitimat celebrated it’s inaugural event "Kick it up Kitimat" from September 23 - 30, 2007 which included Bike to Work and Bike to School Week.
Of the official teams that participated, some of the results were:
KCSS Helping Hands (Kitimat Community Services) - averaged 79% ridership throughout the week, with as many as eight out of ten staff riding each day!

Kick It Up Kitimat is planning to bring health and wellness initiatives into Schools and workplaces this Fall. September 24th to 27th children will be invited to challenge their parents to participate in the local Bike Walk) to Work Week.
