Hurrah Prince George bike commuters! What a great event! The stats are coming in, and looking great so far.
There are a few more Bike to Work Week things to do but your #1 task is to enter your team’s results to be considered for this year’s prizes!
Submit your Nominations for ‘Roll Model’ and ‘Best Rookie’ awards.
We’ve received some testamonials already, keep them coming! We love to hear about your successes as Bike to Work Week-ers! Since this is a PGCycling Club event, any comments you may have about cycling in P.G. (like commuter safety, routes, etc.) will go to the club too!
Please send along any comments, questions, or concerns to email@example.com
Dont’ forget to email your team photo to firstname.lastname@example.org
Saturday is your absolute last chance to enter your name into the draw for the grand prizes and to get your photo taken to win the ‘Best Dressed Cyclist’ prize. Plus the first 100 people to bike to the market (Bike to Work Week-ers or not) get $5 in Market Bucks to be used at any Farmer’s Market stall. Grab yourself some fry-bread, natural soap, or artisan bread to reward yourself for being green and healthy! Way to go P.G.
Is it the end of your work week? Remember to send your kms to you team leader as soon as possible to be considered for the team prizes! This year winning teams will get bike racks installed at their workplace or donated to a worthy P.G. location. Last year’s bike racks went to City Hall, the Aquatic Centre, P.G. Activators Society, and Handsome Cabin Boy Tattoo. Where will this year’s racks end up? We’ll find out soon enough!
Friday’s Celebration Station is at Team Powerhouse Realty in Downtown P.G. Join Mark and Cam and enjoy a danish from The Pastry Chef and coffee from Zoe’s Java House! It’s been a long week, you deserve a treat. Don’t forget to entre your name in the grand prize draw. Today might be the last day to get in your kilometers, why not take the long way to work to boost your team’s statistics?
