Saturday Celebration Station
Saturday is your absolute last chance to enter your name into the draw for the grand prizes and to get your photo taken to win the ‘Best Dressed Cyclist’ prize. Plus the first 100 people to bike to the market (Bike to Work Week-ers or not) get $5 in Market Bucks to be used at any Farmer’s Market stall. Grab yourself some fry-bread, natural soap, or artisan bread to reward yourself for being green and healthy! Way to go P.G.
Is it the end of your work week? Remember to send your kms to you team leader as soon as possible to be considered for the team prizes! This year winning teams will get bike racks installed at their workplace or donated to a worthy P.G. location. Last year’s bike racks went to City Hall, the Aquatic Centre, P.G. Activators Society, and Handsome Cabin Boy Tattoo. Where will this year’s racks end up? We’ll find out soon enough!

Friday’s Celebration Station is at Team Powerhouse Realty in Downtown P.G. Join Mark and Cam and enjoy a danish from The Pastry Chef and coffee from Zoe’s Java House! It’s been a long week, you deserve a treat. Don’t forget to entre your name in the grand prize draw. Today might be the last day to get in your kilometers, why not take the long way to work to boost your team’s statistics?

Cycling: It's Not All Work and No Play
The Retreads are a local women’s cycling group who meet on a weekly basis to ride the local roads and trails. Many of the members are retired and so they no longer need to cycle to work but cycling has become their recreation and their method of transportation.
